Take a moment to press down firmly on the top of your shoulders and rub in a circular motion. If you feel tenderness, you may\u00a0benefit from the following exercises. Please consult with your doctor before doing these to ensure your safety.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Raise your shoulders as high as possible, tightening your\u00a0muscles gradually until you reach a strong yet\u00a0comfortable level. Hold the tension for six to eight seconds and then slowly release your shoulders back down. This method can be done anytime to quickly relax the muscles.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/feelgoodtoday.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/shrug.jpg\"><img class=\"aligncenter wp-image-438\" src=\"http:\/\/feelgoodtoday.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/shrug.jpg\" alt=\"shrug\" width=\"156\" height=\"185\" \/><\/a>Clasp your hands behind your head, tilt\u00a0your head back and push against your hands. Slowly increase the pressure to a comfortable level and hold for six to eight seconds.
