Boston, Choose Better Health

Choosing health in Boston in 2016

Boston, as you say goodbye to 2015, take a moment to reflect on the good choices you made. Celebrate your accomplishments both great and small. The choices we make matter; even the littlest choice, made into habit, can make a big impact in your life.

Learn for your health

Boston has a rich legacy of being home to many excellent institutions of higher learning. It’s inspiring that this legacy continues in the world of health. Curiosity leads us to learn more about what gets us healthy and keeps us that way. You must dedicate yourself to the habit of reading to expand your knowledge. You will find that the power to help yourself reach new levels of health is within your grasp!

Inactivity is the enemy

We have to stay moving to be healthy. We’re constantly in need of movement for circulation and blood sugar balance. If someone exercises on a regular basis, that’s helpful, but it doesn’t stop the damage of sitting. I’m thankful to be in a city like Boston where I can walk and bike easily. Moving more is a way of life that can help you achieve more in the new year.

Resolution is not the solution

The concept of the new year’s resolution can be a catalyst for change, but it’s often a recipe for disaster. Rather than an ultimatum, focus on simple changes that are easy for you to accomplish. Eating half the calories two days a week instead of trying to eat salads every day, for example. From there, work on slightly less comfortable levels of effort. It’s always easier to start with an simple routine and grow from there.

I’m here to help

I am very proud to be able to work with people of all walks of life in Boston. I want all of you to appreciate yourselves for all the hard work you’ve done. Thanks for providing me with the opportunity to help you learn to live more healthy and active lives.
